Chapter 1 - Cabo San Lucas
The engagement took place in Cabo San Lucas on July 28, 2025, during a private sunset dinner on the beach— flowers, wine, dessert, and the sound of crashing waves --complete with a surprise proposal and a mariachi serenade to mark the beginning of what comes next.
Chapter 2 - Disneyland
On February 10, 2026, under the glow of the castle at Disneyland’s Sweethearts’ Night, the magic came full circle. Kat surprised Marcella with a proposal of her own—complete with Mickey bride ears, castle lights, and a night spent running through the park celebrating with characters and special shows.
The second proposal wasn’t just a surprise—it was a promise. Kat wanted Marcella to have the experience of being proposed to, and to wear a ring of her own. It perfectly reflects who they are: always thinking of each other, always choosing each other, and always making sure the other feels cherished.

Kathlyn and Marcella first met in 2013 and recognized something real—connection, curiosity, possibility. Life carried them in different directions, not because the love wasn’t there, but because the timing wasn’t yet right.
Over the years, they grew into many versions of themselves. And when they found their way back to one another three years ago, it wasn’t a restart—it was a recognition. This time, everything fit.
Now they stand together as the right versions, finding each other at exactly the right moment.
